What is it actually?
Magnetic tiles are often colored, flat tiles made of (durable) plastic whose edges are magnetic. The bricks can be connected to each other to create structures in both 2D (for the little ones) and 3D. The magnetic tiles are available in various shapes, Sizen and colors.

Differences between Magna-Tiles, Connetix, Cleverclixx and Coblo
There are many similarities between the various brands of magnetic building blocks. They can all be used from 3 years old (this is because the sets may contain small parts) up to about 10/11 years old. All brands can be combined and contain magnets on the outer edge of the stones. Yet there are also differences. Besides the visual differences, there are also some other differences between the different types of building blocks. The oldest brand is Magna-Tiles. Magna-Tiles has been around the longest. The magnetic force of Magna-Tiles stones is somewhat less strong than that of other brands. This makes these magnetic stones easier for the very youngest to separate. In addition, the themes and figures (animals, figures and more) are characteristic of Magna-Tiles. The colors are often clear and brighter, matching the themes of the brand.

Connetix is an Australian brand that has existed since 2019. It is extremely popular. The beautifully finished magnetic tiles reflect light very well and are available in roughly 3 lines: pastel, rainbow and clear. The magnetic force is very good and large structures can be made with it. In addition to the building sets, there are also marble tracks and vehicles to combine. Connetix has already won several prizes for its magnetic toys.

Coblo is a Dutch brand. Where the brand previously focused mainly on primary colors, pastel colors and transparent sets have now been added. Coblo regularly offers new themes, such as a gold set or a set with glitter. In addition to the building blocks and marble runs, they also have entire educational sets focused on counting or learning the alphabet.

Cleverclixx is the youngest brand in the list. However, you wouldn't say this if you look at the quality and versatility of the brand. The building blocks are beautifully finished and the magnetic force is good. The versatility of the products surprises. Roughly speaking, Cleverclixx offers two lines: pastel and intense (primary colors). In addition to the building blocks, you will also find marble runs and race tracks at Cleverclixx. There is also a marble track available with illuminated marbles and the cars associated with the race track also light up. Very nice!
