Akuku breast compresses

Are you breastfeeding or do you want to start doing so? Then you have a lot to look forward to! You may experience engorgement, painful breasts or clogged milk ducts. To combat these inconveniences, we have the Akuku breast compresses in our range. 

These breast pads with cherry stones are designed to support you during the breastfeeding period, when you experience pain or discomfort. They help with clogged milk ducts and provide relief from mastitis and swollen, overfull breasts.

The compresses are made of 100% ecological and safe Sizerials, a form of waffle cotton and you can use them hot or cold depending on your needs. 

It is best to use them just before feeding to stimulate milk flow. You can also use them before or during pumping to shorten the pumping time.

How to use?

• Microwave: Place the compress (1 piece) without cover on the microwave plate and adjust the time to the microwave power (1200 W – 20 seconds).
• Oven: Place the compress (1 piece) without cover in a clean heat-resistant dish in the middle of the oven and heat for about 5 minutes at 130 degrees Celsius.
• Radiator: Place the compress on a clean, warm radiator and leave until the desired temperature is reached.
• Cold use: Leave the compress in the freezer for at least 2 hours (uncovered, in an airtight container or zipper bag to prevent it from getting wet and absorbing moisture). Before applying the compress to the chest, place it in the cover.
  
  Note: The akuku® compresses should not be heated for longer than recommended by the manufacturer.
